Nothing adds extra excitement to a party than adding balloons! Balloon Time offers helium balloon kits where you can fill the balloons up yourself in your home. Since it was Molly’s milestone 1st birthday, I used the Combo Balloon Time Kit that provides 5 foil balloons as well as 20 colorful latex balloons. They also have 30 count, 50 count, and sticker face balloon kits so you can choose what will fit your party best. The process to fill the balloons couldn’t be easier. All you do is attach the balloon you want to fill, turn the knob of the helium tank clockwise, and press down on the nozzle with your fingers holding the balloon in place. You then tie the balloon and attach the spool of ribbon that’s included with the kit. In no time, we had 25 balloons filled!
I chose to put the balloons together to form a balloon bouquet and attached them to the birthday girl’s high chair but of course, as soon as the children got there, they wanted to play with them so they didn’t last long being tied up to the chair. I had so much fun watching the kids enjoy the balloons and seeing Molly’s face light up when she saw them hanging above her head when she sat in her chair. I think it gave her a greater sense to realize that this special day was for her!
