Remodeling Bathrooms

Kohler Bathroom Faucets Blessings Abound Mommy

One thing I’ve been itching to do this past year is to update our bathrooms.  I want something to reflect my personal style, yet be family friendly.  Our home especially lacks in storage capabilities so I also want to add some furniture so that we can store more of our bathroom supplies in the bathrooms rather than other rooms of the house.  What I wouldn’t give for a more efficient bathroom!

Upgrading our bathroom fixtures is also on the list of to dos once we’re able to remodel.  Among the top of our list is to switch out our bathroom faucets.  I’ve been looking around and I really like the look and quality of Kohler bathroom faucets.   They have quite a few different models that I find appealing and their trusted brand name makes me confident that I’ll be pleased with my purchase.

Of course, one of the things I’m most looking forward to is replacing the trim that has been damaged and putting a fresh coat of paint in both bathrooms.  I’ve been terrible at choosing paint that actually looks like I picture it will turn out once it’s on the wall.  I’ve been researching different types of paint colors and am hoping to narrow it down to ones that I’ll be certain will be exactly as I expect it should look once it’s painted and dried.

I think the most enjoyable part of the process will be outfitting our new bathroom looks with a romantic, classic theme and fresh linens.  It’s been a long time since we’ve been able to buy a shower curtain, bathroom rugs, and bathroom towels that coordinate.  I’ve been scoping out a few different stores online of bathroom linens that have caught my eye and it gets me so excited for the day we will start remodeling our bathrooms.  Waiting just builds up the anticipation, but at least I know the direction I want to go with both remodels once the time comes!

I so want to do the same – to our bathrooms and kitchen. the builder used cheap white countertop, it’s stained after 12 years….. maybe one day.

It’s nice to update the bathroom with new towels & shower curtain even if you can’t remodel.

We need to do the same. It has been 10 years since our last remodel and we grow tired of it. Remodel carefully and save money!

I love remodeling projects too – especially when it’s my house being remodeled. My husband and I built a house last year and when I say “we built” the house, we did most of it. We did the cabinet hanging, the wall painting, the tile work, the back splashes, the sink installations, faucet installations, etc. Talk about a project! It was a lot of fun though! I thought I would let you know that we ordered our faucets from – they have all the name brand faucets on there like Kohler, etc. just for better prices. Good luck with your bathroom and happy remodeling! :)

I learned that there are removable shower heads with 5 foot and 6 foot long hoses. Didn’t know that.

I like the idea of remodeling my bathroom. I am finding that you can do a complete makeover without spending lots of money if the vanity, toilet, and tub are in decent condition.
