Earth Footwear Positive Heel Mom Review:

The New Year means different things for different people.  For me, it gives me a new beginning and a way to clear the slate and start anew.  One way that makes me feel revived during the start of the year is a new Spring and Summer wardrobe and sometimes it all starts with a fabulous pair of shoes!

Recently, I received the Earth Footwear Camellia Shoes in a size 7.  My pair of shoes came in a beautiful tan color they call Alpaca.  I love the lacey and feminine cut out designs and the stylish studs that adorn the shoes.  They are very trendy and cute, just what I needed to revamp my Spring attire with!

Unlike past Earth Footwear shoe styles, this pair of shoes feature Earth Footwear’s “positive heel” technology rather than their negative heel that most are familiar with.  Basically, the new Earth® features a cushioned footbed for all day comfort with a padded heel area to displace shock, a reinforced arch support to stabilize foot, and a multi-density latex cushioning layer for extra support (look to the diagram above).   You can still find the negative heel Earth Footwear shoes to live strong under it’s original name, Kalsø Earth® Shoes.

I can tell you that new positive heel technology is all about comfort!  I slipped my pair of Camellia shoes on and they not only fit like a glove, but they were instantly comfortable!  I walked in them the entire day and there was no breaking in pain that’s normally associated with new shoes.  Even though they have a heel to them, it feels as if you’re walking in shoes that have no heels at all and seem to have more support than your average pair of sandals.  The elastic strap fits snug against my ankles and the footbed is cushy enough to allow me to walk in them all day long.  I absolutely LOVE them!
