Pumpkin Turkey Chili Slow Cooker Recipe

Brr!  When the temperatures start to drop, that’s when my slow cooker gets hard at work to prepare warm, satisfying meals for our family.  This fall season, I’ve been making chili often and I had a feeling it was getting a little old, which is when I decided to put a fall twist to the traditional chili.

This time, I replaced ground moose for ground turkey, tweaked the seasonings, and added pumpkin.  Yes, pumpkin!  Think of all the rich, fiber goodness and fall flavor pumpkin lends to chili.  Pumpkin makes it’s a more filling and healthier dish.  My family loved the Pumpkin Turkey Chili I came up with and I hope you will too!002
