Scentsy Warmer Review and Giveaway!

Meet the Company:

Scentsy, Inc. is a rapidly growing party plan company offering a variety of scented, wickless candles heated in decorative ceramic warmers. The company began with the idea of offering a safe, wickless alternative to burning candles in homes and offices. It has evolved from offering a safer alternative to offering a better alternative. Scentsy’s flagship product line is an array of decorative warmers that utilize a low-watt bulb to melt a fragrance-filled, wickless candle bar. These products, along with a line of Travel Tins, Room Sprays and Hanging Fresheners, are sold through a network of independent direct sales consultants at home parties, open houses and home shows throughout the U.S., Puerto Rico, Guam and Canada.

Through Mom Trials: I just heart a delightful smelling home!  The ambiance a lit candle creates is beautiful and relaxing and the sweet fragrance the burning candle puts out.  However, being a mom of five small children restricts me from burning a candle in our house because I don’t feel comfortable lighting a candle where there may be even a remote possibility that they could touch it and burn their little fingers.  Not to mention, one of the last times I lit a candle in its appropriate container, it left a burn mark on my window sill.  Let’s just say I’m not happy about that to this day!

There’s a product that can combine the ambiance and the scent you get from a candle without lighting it.  I’m talking about Scentsy- a company that offers wickless candles that works by using a decorative warmer with a low watt bulb to melt scented wax.  This is a really cool concept for a house filled with little kids!  I was sent the  Natures Haven Full Size Warmer and two Scentsy Bars in Clarity and Beach scents and I couldn’t wait to plug it in and give it a go and work its magic.  To me, this sounded like an ideal alternative to burning candles!

The Natures Haven Warmer is beautifully decorated with sweet little yellow birds, budding branches with leaves, and their nests.  It’s very pretty and even the top of the warmer is made to resemble a nest with a bird perched on top of it.  When I plug it in, there are circle cut outs through the base that lets out a glow  similar to a burning candle.  I placed the Scentsy Bar in Beach in the warmer and within a few minutes, my living room was filled with it’s fruity notes of papaya, honey dew, and hint of coconut.  It certainly got me in the mood to visit the tropics!  I couldn’t believe at how much fragrance was released from those tiny little squares and the scent lasted much longer than I anticipated.  After a few hours of the warmer being plugged in, I would unplug it and the fragrance would last a good part of the rest of the day.

One thing I absolutely love about the Scentsy bars is that you can break them into little squares to use as little or as much as you want or to mix and match scents.  The creative side of me loves making my own unique, customized scents and the sky is the limit with these line of scented bars and bricks.  Scentsy has over 80 quality fragrances that will fill your home with the most amazing scents and it won’t be hard to have more than a few of your favorite fragrances.  Even more important than that, I am ecstatic that I won’t have to worry about the dangers of lighting a candle to get the same benefits of burning a candle.  My little ones can be safe from singing their fingers and  I also will never have to fear that it will leave a burn mark on surfaces or cause soot on my walls or ceilings.  I don’t think I’ll ever go back to burning candles again!
