Sam’s Club Giving Made Simple Charity Vote and Giveaway!

Yesterday, I shared a little tidbit about the Sam’s Club Giving Made Simple campaign where Sam’s Club is giving away 4 million dollars to different youth education and entrepreneurship organizations. Now, I get to let you in on exactly how you can help! Sam’s Club Giving Made Simple is giving you the power to cast your vote and determine how much each charity will be given. Out of the 4 million dollars, the two organizations (one each from the youth education category and entreprenership organization) with the top votes will receive $1 million dollars each to benefit their cause, the two second place winners will each receive $500, 000, and the third and fourth place winners will each receive $250,000. As you can see, every charity will receive a sum to benefit their cause, but it’s entirely up to you as a Sam’s Club member to help determine how much each charity will receive out of the 4 million dollar pot!

Here are the eight organizations contending for your votes:

Voting is simple and only take a few minutes of your time. All you do is visit www.samsclub.com/giving , www.facebook.com/samsclub, or walk into your local Sam’s Club starting April 10th to cast your vote. Online, you will be directed to enter your email address and password that’s under your Sam’s Club Membership Card account to log on and select the vote button under the organization that you’d like to see receive the 1st place prize for their cause! If you’re unsure who to vote for, you can click on the learn more under each organization to research which charity you believe deserves your vote the most. Voting starts online on April 8th and you can cast your vote once a day until voting closes on May 2nd. Now my personal goal and wish is to get my readers to cast at least 5oo votes and I would love it if you would help me reach that goal!

If you’re as passionate as I am about giving, you can also get involved in the excitement and conversation with the participating charities by by visiting www.samsclub.com/giving, joining Sam’s Club on Facebook, or following @samsclub on Twitter. Winners of the charity vote will be announced May 4th so get your votes in and support a good cause!

1. As a Sam’s Club Member, vote on your charity of choice on the Sam’s Club Giving Microsite and leave a comment with which charity you voted for and the name you voted under!

2. If you’re not a current Sam’s Club member, you can earn your chance to win by promoting this campaign on your blog, Facebook, and/or Twitter to encourage others to vote and leave a comment with the direct link to your blog post, Facebook page, or Twitter Id!
