Six Sisters Beadworks was born out of the sheer necessity to accessorize my little girls! With six young daughters, I am always on the lookout for good quality children’s jewelry and have been disappointed by the poor quality and breakage of most items available. I have pursued professional jewelry design in an effort to create a piece that is artfully fashioned to feel and look both unique and spectacular. My daughters have learned to beadwork right alongside me and love to take turns stringing beads and giving their input for new designs. Our collection has expanded to now included personalized bracelets not only for infants and children, but for Mother’s and Grandmother’s as well. Together we have created sturdy, long lasting pieces that women and children love to wear. We look forward to desigining one of our phenomenally popular bracelets especially for you! Here’s to accessorizing!
Through the Mom Trials: My daughters love to adorn themselves with jewelry as much as I do. The only problem is, most children’s jewelry is laden with lead and other harmful chemicals that I don’t feel comfortable or safe for my children to wear. Not only that, but they also tend to be fragile and break easy causing a big mess of beads and posing as a choking hazard to my littlest one. They are definitely not kid friendly and I refuse to spend money on kids jewelry that won’t last or hold up and aren’t good for their health. Now, I have always thought that personalized jewelry for my girls would be my best bet for quality constructed, safe, and sentimental jewelry that they can continue to wear well beyond their childhood.
Six Sisters Beadworks offers the jewelry that I would happily approve for my daughters to wear! This mother and daughter team provide unique, creative, and pretty designer bracelets for infants, children, teens, mothers, and grandmothers! They create jewelry made with durable and fine materials such as sterling silver beads and clasps, glass beads, 14k gold filled beads, genuine Swarvoski crystals pearls, as well as freshwater pearls in some of their exclusive designs. Each custom bracelet is sold according to wrist size, making it easy to ensure a proper fit for the recipient. They also guarantee a perfect fit or they will resize it for free within 30 days of your purchase. I also love that they offer additional services such as offering bracelet repair, adding beads to children’s bracelets as they grow, and adding names to a current bracelet at very affordable prices. This is a business I would gladly support as it benefits a mom and her family right here in the USA!
After spending some time looking over the gorgeous jewelry creations on their site, I had the Personalized Name Birthstone Bracelet customized for my biggest helper and my oldest daughter, Elizabeth. The bracelet is made out of sterling silver beads, a sterling silver clasp, glass pearls, and the November glass birthstone beads. Elizabeth just adores her new bracelet and is sure to point it out to anyone who hasn’t seen it. She made sure to tell me that it’s her favorite thing to wear and that she feels extra special that her name is on it. The glass, silver, and pearl beads together make a striking combination and it’s a lovely piece that will be versatile to match whatever she is wearing. When I inspected the bracelet prior to giving it to her, I could tell that it was created with care and is tough enough to stand up to daily wear and tear. The professional jeweler’s wire holds the bracelet together nicely and the clasp is easy enough for her to take on and off. I’m so happy with the outcome of her bracelet that when my other girls get old enough, I will turn to Six Sisters Beadworks and have their own custom bracelets designed by them!
