Baby Will Sleep Safe and Snug as a Bug in a Rug in a Halo SleepSack Review & Giveaway!
Giveaways | admin | November 24, 2009 at 1:01 amHALO Innovations, Inc. is dedicated to creating a healthier and safer sleeping environment for adults and children. Founder William Schmid began researching sleeping environments after he lost a daughter to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome in 1991. Since 1994, he and his company have worked to develop products that encourage healthier and safer sleeping as well as bring peace of mind to your home.
We invite you to learn more about how you can create a safer and healthier sleeping environment in your own home with the help of HALO Innovations’ quality products.
A percentage of HALO Innovations’ profits are donated to First Candle/SIDS Alliance and the Canadian Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths to fund ongoing SIDS research, education and family support.
Through the Mom Trials:
One of my favorite swaddling blankets happens to be the Halo SleepSack Swaddle. It takes the guesswork out of wondering if you’ve swaddled your baby properly and removing the fear that your baby will become a victim of SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome). You no longer have to worry that your baby will kick off their blankets in their sleep and they will drift into sleep comfortably being tucked in just right. One of my favorite features is that when your baby outgrows the need to be swaddled, you can remove the swaddling feature and it transforms to a wearable blanket that will stay put on your sweet babe all night long!
I had never tried the new Plush Dot Velboa SleepSack and I was given the opportunity to try one out through MomSelect. This swaddle blanket is very stylish with plush dot velour fabric and satin trim. It is also lined with poly interlock lining and is so super soft that I’m jealous I don’t have a blanket made out of the same material. It is definitely a baby blanket that babies will be warm, cozy, and sleeping in the lap of luxury, not to mention be safe and sound while they slumber!
Features:
- THE 2-in-1 SleepSack™ Swaddle allows you to swaddle from birth, but also allows you to move the swaddle feature down for arms out.
- Stay-Fixed™ Velcro® loops secure swaddle to wearable blanket for optimal performance and peace of mind.
- Swaddle feature can be removed once baby is done swaddling and the wearable blanket can be used alone.
- The wearable blanket that carries seals from the leading SIDS organizations in both the U.S. and Canada.
- Reduces the risk of rebreathing (the inhalation of carbon dioxide), which has been associated as a possible cause of sudden infant death syndrome.
- Generous sack design allows room for kicking, but can’t be kicked off so baby stays warm all night.
- Inverted zipper makes diaper changes easy, won’t pinch baby’s skin and makes it harder for an older child to unzip.
- Sleeveless design allows for ventilation and reduces the risk of rebreathing into sleeve.
- New adorable embroidery message on chest reminds caregivers to place baby on his or her back.
- Slips on easily over a regular sleeper or diaper.
- Machine washable and dryable with like colors.
- Available in Pink, Blue, Cream and Chocolate.
- Made of 100% flame-retardent polyester fleece.
Awards:
- iParenting Award winner and HOT Award winner!
- NAPPA Gold Award Winner!
- 2008 Innovation Award for Consumer Safety from the Home Safety Council!
