With the Summer heat still around, our family is always looking for healthy, yummy, and cost effective ways to beat the Summer heat. Thanks to MyBlogSpark™, my family received a Yoplait ”Summer Cool Down” Gift Bag that got my kids pumped with excitement! The gift bag contained coupons for free Yoplait Whips!, a cooler tote, a popsicle mold, and 12- color changing spoons and my kids couldn’t wait to stop by the store so we could choose the flavors to make their own yogurt popsicles and try out the new popsicle molds! Although the Yoplait Whips! come in in a variety of delicious flavors like Strawberry Mist, Chocolate, Key Lime Pie, Orange Crème, Chocolate Raspberry, Lemon Burst, Peaches ‘N Cream and Raspberry Mousse, and their newest flavor, Vanilla Creme, my local grocery store only stocked the Strawberry Mist and Chocolate flavors. Making the yogurt popsicles were a snap for my kids to do on their own (with parental supervision, of course). They simply opened the yogurt package and spooned the yogurt into the popsicle molds. Place the popsicle mold in the freezer for a few hours and then they are done! It doesn’t take much to provide your kids with a much healthier alternative to traditional ice cream and popsicles that are chocked full of sugar and calories and it makes a fun family activity all members of your family will enjoy. Once they are frozen, you leave the popsicles out for a few minutes so they easily pop out of the molds and the whole family can savor the creamy, yummy goodness of a frozen yogurt treat without the guilt! My kids just love to create their own cool down treat daily!
