Everyone going to the 2009 BlogHer Conference has been buzzing and fretting over what to wear to BlogHer. I got caught up in that whole business for a little while, worrying if I’ll be overdressed as that is my tendency as I love to wear dresses and skirts. I took a step back and then realized, you should go as what best represents you and who you are! By all means, if you’re casual and live in your flip flops or if you’re a princess like me and like to get dressed up for no reason, go for it! BlogHer is all about you representing who you are to the blogging community and PR so it only makes sense to stay true to who you are. In case you’re interested in how you’ll find me at BlogHer, here are some pics of what I’ll be wearing to BlogHer 2009 (I apologize for the sloppy pics, we were in a hurry and my 15 yr old sister didn’t guide me in some of the pic mishaps):
Conference uniform sporting one of my sponsor’s logo, Boogie Wipes, on the black vest they provided me with (unless they really do send me an orange shirt with their logo and I’ll have to dig up some black skirts to go with it and I’ll most likely wear the vest zipped up as I get cold in air conditioned places) with my blog name in rhinestones on my shirt from Just Jen paired with a hot pink, embroidered skirt from Banana Republic (I’ll be wearing a different skirt the second day and that will be dependent on what I will still fit in by conference time as my blossoming belly is quickly expanding):
MomDot Dinner dress (yes, another Banana Republic dress) and I will be wearing some American Eagle black kitten heels with them as I decided to forgo any high heels to spare my feet since I know I’ll be on my feet most of the time. I know that the green and black houndstooth print is a fall/winter print, but I like the dress and I don’t care, lol):
Friday night party dress (green, pleated maxi dress from Banana Republic- and no I will not be wearing the tank shown in the picture and the straps will be shortened by 1 inch) and will be pairing it with the snake print gladiator sandals from you guessed where- Banana Republic:
Saturday party dress (yellow gorgette, ruched dress and I don’t have to say from where and I just noticed that in the pic, my left strap is twisted and the tank underneath won’t be present either, lol) and even though this dress would be best paired with heels, I didn’t want to pack a suitcase full of shoes so I’m sticking with my gladiator sandals for this number too):
I decided against the “little black dress” this year. I used to wear a lot of black and got burnt out on it. I love color if you can’t tell already. Black certainly would have fit, but I like the summery colors of my dresses. So, now you know what I’ll be wearing, what about you? How will I be able to spot you at this year’s conference?

Very cute! And I was expecting the vest to be like a bright orange crossing guard vest type thingy. This is much better! Very cute! I am trying to find some more colored dresses but everything out there is black. We’ll see if I can find something other than black.
Super cute dresses!!

Cute stuff! I love the yellow dress.
You look great. I love all your clothes.
I’m reading this and you’ve probably already worn half of these outfits! They’re gorgeous and I’m sure you’re having a great time!
I honestly think that you look great in all those dresses. You have a glow in you that makes you look fabulous. But I must say that the black dress brings out a sophisticated woman in you. Good luck on the event. Stay pretty and cute. Cheers to mom bloggers!
