Through the Mom Trials:  A few days ago, I received a Happy Mother’s Day Gardener’s Paradise Cookie Bouquet from Edible Gifts Plus and the first thing I want to mention is that the cookie arrangement was impeccably wrapped so that there would be no way it could get damaged.  That’s one of the biggest concerns I had since the package would be coming a long distance away, but when I pulled out the cookie bouquet, it was all in one piece and you can tell they took extra care in making sure it would make it to me unharmed.  The presentation was beautiful with artfully iced shapes of watering cans, lady bugs, seed packets, and a sunflower plus a special cookie with the words Happy Mother’s Day on it.  The cookies were sealed in plastic to preserve freshness and were much bigger than I had pictured off the website! 

This cheerful cookie bouquet didn’t make it in time to reach me before I started my cleanse and boy, was it almost enough for me to be tempted and cheat, but I refrained and passed it along to my mom who enjoys sweet confections.  She appreciated the fact that I would think of her and she happily took these tempting treats off my hands.  Of course, grandma always enjoys sharing her goodies so my kids were sure glad they could take advantage of the situation and eat these tasty cookies with her!  They all were in agreement that the frosted cookies were delicious and felt that it had the just came out of the oven baked flavor and texture.  I was definitely missing out as I watched them scarf up those pretty cookies in no time and will be sure to order from them when I can once again indulge in some sweet treats!
