As a mom, I love whipping up meals for my family and one thing I like to do is learn new recipes and cookings skills so that my family will never tire of my cooking.  Betty Crocker has started a new online cooking club, The Mixer, where you can learn all the tricks and tips of cooking and baking live while being able to interact with the Betty Crocker Cooking Experts and get together with fellow cooks at the same time!  That’s the hand holding you need if you’re a novice cook wanting to learn how to do the basics or an experienced chef wanting to brush up on your skills.  They will be holding a different class each week for the next six weeks that will include recipe demonstrations, tips, techniques, cooking advice, and much more that’s sure to be informational and fun.   The wonderful part of these classes are that they are offered at three different times a week (Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. ET, Wednesdays at 9:00 p.m. ET, and Saturdays at 4:oo p.m. ET)  so you can pick a time that best fits your schedule and do it in the privacy of your home.   Even if you’re bound to miss it for some reason, you can always go back and watch it on demand.  How convenient is that?!

Here is the current schedule:

Week #1 – Kickin Chicken Recipes and tips for making juicy, mouthwatering chicken
Week #2 – Pastabilities Secrets of building flavor that will allow you to create your own signature sauces
Week #3 – Greens with Envy Recipes for go-to salads
Week #4 – Viva Tortilla Taking taco night to a whole new level
Week #5 – Wok it Out Stir-fry techniques and recipes for easy
flavorful sauces
Week #6 – Small Bites-Big Flavors Dips and appetizers that are easy and flavorful and guiltless desserts
