Birthday Event Day 7: Frecklebox

Ethan chose Hip Hop Howie with his name and you should have seen the smile on his face when it arrived!  He immediately jumped on my lap and insisted that I read it to him right away.  He would anticipate his name being found on every page and would hastily point to it before I even had a chance to read the story on that page.  The kids joined in unified laughter at this humorous personalized book filled with fun rhymes and eye catching illustrations!

Elizabeth and Liberty were just as excited to receive personalized placemats with their names on it.  I picked out the “Picking Flowers” for Elizabeth and the “Angels on Clouds” for Liberty.  The kids placemats are laminated on both sides and have proved to be durable and stand up to spilled food and stains.  They are a cinch to keep clean with a damp cloth.  Elizabeth and Liberty make sure their mats are placed on the table in their spots at the table before every meal.  Liberty likes to trace her name with her finger on it and often looks up at me with that special sparkle in her eyes and says, “That’s me, that’s says Liberty!”
