There have been times I’ve been so thankful that I was right there when my shopping cart would attempt to roll away from me due to wind or an unlevel parking lot. I’ve witnessed time and time again, carts that do damage to vehicles due to high winds that have whipped a cart into a vehicle and have almost caused terrible accidents. Throw in how frustrating it is to try to use your foot or leg to pin the shopping cart to you in order to secure the cart while trying to unload groceries so that it doesn’t get caught up in the wind and roll away from you or the fear of your child’s safety in the cart and you wonder how this all could be prevented. I’ve stumbled upon a wonderful tool made to ensure those incidents will never happen again!
For under $10, the Cart-Stopper is really a simple gadget but one that could potentially save your child’s life and prevent accidents and damage to vehicles in the parking lot. It is positively brilliant and features a super suction cup that firmly attaches to your vehicle with an elastic end that has a plastic bar that you twist to fit through the bars of your cart. Your cart is stable and immobilized and you can freely go about putting away your groceries in your vehicle without worrying that your cart will get away from you. I do have to warn you that your vehicle’s surface should be fairly clean before installing this device otherwise the suction cup may not grip your vehicle’s exterior properly.
Removing the Cart-Stopper is as easy as the installation. All you have to do is lift up on the lip of the suction cup to release it’s hold on your vehicle. The compact size of this handy and innovative tool is great for stashing in your car, purse, or diaper bag so you won’t be caught without it when you need it most. This is truly an essential gadget no one should go without and you will never have to chase a cart full of kids and groceries down again!

Runaway carts and loading the car is always so difficult, this is a great invention! I always have to watch where my cart rolls off to so this would be great!
It is always hard to keep one hand on the cart while trying to load your groceries into the car when it is a windy day. This is a great idea!

This would have helped prevent a very big ding in my car that happened a few weeks ago.
It seems like it is always windy here in the White Mountains of Arizona. Many times I have had to chase the cart to keep it from hitting someone else’s car. I would love this.
this would help on my weekly grocery shopping trips
I could use it, my grocery store, has alot of hills in the parking lot, Ya i know wth!
My cart is always running away from me.
This would have saved me from a great deal of stress when I got a ding in the door on my new car!
I find that the cart slips when I am trying to get the heavy items from the bottom of the cart. I put my foot on the cart but it can make me unstable.
When I’m with my two kids at the grocery store, this would be a great help
GREAT product, would come in handy here on windy days, I am constantly trying to hold the cart with the baby in it next to the car. There have been times when it has almost gotten away from me in to the traffic lanes.
I had a cart roll out into a car driving past! thank god I was alone that day without the kids.

With twins, we usually go to grocery stores with the big- 2 seat carts. so basically my hubby loads the car with the bags and i put the kids in their carseats. its kind of tough making sure the cart doesnt rol away while im strapping the other in the carseat. Its a good thing i have my hubbywith me to help out, i dont know what i would do if i was alone shopping with 2 toddlers!
This would be a lifesaver!!
